BOY SCOUT TROOP
TRAILER DESIGN
AND LOGO
Organization:
Troop 361 of the BSA
Role:
Development and design, project management with the print vendor.
Background:
With a rich tradition of scouting (and Eagle Scout ranks) in my family, this was a fun project to be a part of. A local scout troop had recently purchased a trailer, and the Scoutmaster wanted to add graphics as a way to bring more visibility to scouting.
The design required the troop number, BSA logo, and outdoor activity. Hiking seemed like a natural fit for this troop, and Mt. Rainier was added for a regional reference. Thinking of this trailer in terms of a moving billboard, I kept the graphics and text simple for a clean and bold look.
When a neckerchief logo was needed, design elements from the trailer were incorporated into the image for a consistent look.
